There’s a lot on its way. The last podcast I worked on was over a year ago. My friend Nathan White and I did a 15 episode stint with our video podcast about direct marketing, Junk Mail Galaxy. It was a blast. We actually had a decent little following. Then… poof! I was off on another adventure, moving a bit too far away from Nate to actively shoot our tapings. Oh. Poof again! Months later, I moved even further away from Nate… some 10 hours driving time away from him… and Junk Mail Galaxy officially came to an end.
Fast forward to life here in rural Ohio. I moved all of these old audio and video tapes out here. Stuff that’s never or rarely been shared with the world. Why have I kept them all? Am I a hoarder? No. I kept it all because I knew someday that technology would catch up. It’s 2010 now. Step in to the Playback Shack.
This site will be the home for not only those lost episodes of Junk Mail Galaxy and The MTFX Radio Podcast, but also the home for those countless other a/v gems. For instance, ever heard me on the In The Groove Radio show? Remember me on Teen Videos? Ever heard me and my brother Dave Foy as kids, starring on our own “radio network” of shows, the MIDA Programming Network? How about our wonderful history of crank calls?
Oh yeah. It’s like that. What? And that’s the way it is. Coming to you soon… here at the Playback Shack.
