From 5/10/2007:
“Once again recording via the fine technology of Yodio.com, MTFX and his brother Dave bring you Episode 15 of The MTFX Radio Podcast. Join us as we talk about the types of things everybody loves: dead bird mutilation, space masturbation, where in the world our listeners are and money shots, among other insignificant things. Thanks to the free music editing software Audacity and the Podsafe Music Network, you’ll also hear great music from Parlour Steps with their song “The Garden,” The Brown Hornets with “Coming Down Easy,” and “Thanks for the Fairy Tale Ending” from By the Wayside. The hard rock instrumental at the beginning of the show is called “Vindication” by Caveat. Yup, this episode features more of the semi-unplugged style you can also hear on Episode 14 – less production and scaled back sound – a little more raw then some previous episodes for sure. Still, one for the ages. Enjoy!”
Best line: “George Lucas is full of sh*t!”

“Episode 14 marks the return of The MTFX Radio Podcast after a long stint in limbo! Joining me as co-host(recorded via telephone, courtesy of yodio.com) is my one and only brother, Dave. What’s new in Hollywood? What’s new in New Jersey? Who knows. There’s a lot of talk about masturbation and MySpace surveys though. Don’t miss listening to this rare, unplugged and brand “spanking” new conversation- full of fresh filth!”

Enjoy this classic crank call from the early 90s. I was about 22-23 years old at the time, and only working part-time. I would quite often stay home during the day and try to outdo my brother’s fantastic crank calls (I hope to post those some day, if he ever decides to share them with the world)!
This call made its way around the mixtape circuit until I eventually shared it with the web back in 2007 as part of the MTFX Radio Podcast.
Glah glah glah glah glah! It’s my honor to share this with you as the first file available on PlaybackShack.com.
